Tool #2

I posted comments on 5 blogs today...including Mrs. Smith's, Sue B's, Miss Ax-E-ton's, Ms. Brady's and Miss Kleinhenz's blogs.  They are all very different!  I did not have a problem sharing my thoughts today.  Nothing was super personal.  I am on facebook and don't share anything too personal there, either.  I'd rather chat with someone in person.  I have a blog reader with my gmail.  I subscribe to many websites.  One that I like a lot is http://elementaryartfun.blogspot.com/  It was created by a fellow art teacher here in the district.  It is AWESOME!!!

  3. This paradigm shift is most difficult, but I believe with all of us working together we can succeed! The rigor is tough, but as we continue to build our skills I believe it will become easier. I want to be your encouragement!

  4. Kim, love that you spotlight Valley Oaks' art work on your blog. I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone's blogging and tool experiences turn out. I think it's awesome and inspiring to see how creative other educators are as I peruse the blogs.

  6. I love the header of your blog--very colorful and perfect for an art blog. I also followed the link to the other art teacher's blog. Wow! She has a nice blog, too. The line drawings gave me a great idea for a science activity. Thanks.

  8. I LOVE your blog header! Art blogs ARE so wonderful - I think because they are so visual. Blogs are such a great way to share what is going on in the art classroom. I agree that the blog you shared is fabulous! Is the owner the art teacher at Spring Shadows? I understand she has an award winning blog and I haven't had time to track her down.

I don't post much that is very personal either - which is why I really don't care for Facebook as it seems that is the intent. I am much more comfortable talking about my work.

You are truly an inspiration and I am so glad we are in the same teaching community! What a blessing for ME! :) Thanks for all you do to make a difference!
